Student Employment

Before starting
Before you may begin employment, you will need to complete some required documentation with HR, including a Federal I-9 employment verification form. Completing the I-9 will also require presentation of original identification documents (not photos or photocopies), typically including a passport, or a combination of an ID or driver's license, birth certificate, and Social Security card. . Please ensure you bring the needed documentation with you to campus to avoid any employment delays.
Starting an on-campus position
If you have found and been selected for an on-campus position, you will work with your supervisor to complete a referral form that will be turned in to Human Resources. You may collect blank referral forms from any member of the HR/Payroll team, either in person at the HR office at Melrose 109, or by emailing the Human Resources team at hr@linfield.edu. Please note that referral forms need to be renewed each academic year, even when continuing in the same position.
Payroll
Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ processes payroll monthly, with pay dates on the 5th of each month, or an earlier business day if the 5th falls on a weekend or holiday. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ partners with the payroll software company Paycom, where you will clock in for shifts, enroll in direct deposit, and where you will be able to find your W-2 tax form at the end of the calendar year.
